Like if you want to keep the bike in the bed overnight? If that's the case, I personally wouldn't do that unless you can keep an eye on it all night. Like I work third shift, so I can leave the bike in the bed all night long because the truck is kept on private grounds.

This weekend I used a cheap cable lock around the down tube and through the upper rear tie down. Works well enough to deter someone just walking by and grabbing a bike.
