Installed my XLT Bedrug today

Well, I’m ontinuing to add on! Today I put on the Bedrug XLT in my bed. It seems to be working with the drop in bed liner.


My truck was someone's else's order, so I was stuck with the drop in. I like it on the sides, but the drop in itself was a bit hard on the knees. This feels like an improvement already. Very happy with how it's looking.

Looks great and you'll be happy with it. I've had mine for over a year and it shows hardly any wear. Saves my knees and anything else I don't want damaged from that sandpaper bed liner. Also, it covers the gap between the bed floor and the tailgate.

Glad to hear this. I am hoping it holds up and it seems like everyone says it does. It was ridiculously warm and humid here today. I was beat after putting it on and just laid down in the bed after because I was so warm. It was pretty comfy then, so there’s a good sign hopefully lol

Glad to be of help. One other thing not in the "rug manual": You can velcro stuff to it. I don't do it too often as the velcro hooks tend to pull up the bed fibers

I got the bed rug xlt from jeep and truck parts. Cost just under $185.

Sorry to revive this, but I’m considering the XLT mat as well and I also have a drop-in. We’re there any issues with fitment or were you able to just set it in and feed it under the sides?

I keep seeing that the XLT mat isn’t intended for drop-ins but obviously your photos are proof that it can be, just curious if anything extra needed to be done to fit it.

^I think you got it - should be able to just push it under the plastic side peices.

Ford points will cover the BedRug - got mine for $10 or so. Well worth it and the flat/padding is key vs other options.
