Installed cab fairing and Morimoto 3rd brake light.

Nope, I just make sure to tighten it up with the velcro on the sides, and it moves very little, even at highway speeds. It fastens tight with the latches , the velcro holds it in place.

I wasn't sure how the light and fairing would look together. The Morimoto light looks really good to me, the oem light just stuck out , with the BAP .
Wasn't sold on the fairing, but it turned out great.
What do you think??

is that the oem cab spoiler made by air design?

also, school me on the light: seems to me I recall that the process involves having to mess with the wiring inside the cab as opposed to simply removing the factory light, unplugging it & replacing it with the morimoto....if this is the case, how much of a hassle was it getting up under hte head liner to get to the wiring?

I've got the cab spoiler on my BAP and am thinking about picking up the Morimoto after the Lasfit cargo bulbs burnt out in less than a year. How long did it take you to wire it up? Been reading the other install thread and feel I could do it but would not be happy about it.

My Maverick has had the spoiler since new. Not sure of its aero effects but my rear window seldom needs cleaning.

I am really liking the look with the spoiler and light.
The Morimoto light is 'fun' to install. I don't know why they just can't make it plug into the plug at the light. They sent 3 different adapter harnesses with the light, must use different plugs on different trucks.
Getting the headliner pulled down was a little tricky, but not impossible. The edge of the headliner is sharp though, recommend a long sleeve shirt .
I pushed the 'christmas tree' wire holders down from the light opening, probably took 30 minutes.
The light is a quality part, looks real good in hand.

I cut myself when I did my Morimoto light install . I was so sure that I couldn't run the roof spoiler with the upgraded light. Thanks for proving me wrong! Adding it to my wish list.

Someone here used the camera version the morimoto too to add their rearview lcd mirror.
