Incoming phone calls

When I have an incoming call and I tap to answer it I don't hear anything and keep saying hello with no response. I hang up and the person calls back and it comes thru just fine.

Happens to me regularly. Hit the speaker button on your phone (for speakerphone) and then click it again and it seems to work for me.

What does the other person hear, and what's their experience when this happens? Do they hear you answer and you speaking, does it drop them immediately to VM (or just hang up on them)?

If it's only on the first call after getting in the truck, certain iphones have had that problem, according to other MTC members. Some have said if you already have the phone unlocked when you get in the truck, it won't happen.

That used to happen on my 22 XLT sometimes the caller was garbled, ford did a upload of latest software and it fixed it.
