Good idea! I had to crisscross my 188cm Rossi Sin7's so the tailgate would close, but they did fit!

Here’s my solution. I’ll have to go back and recheck. I thought my 184’s didn’t fit at all in the bed.

I put the tail end in first on top of the wheel well. The tip had to be curved toward the outside. One on each side so they make an X.
