Everyone said they wanted more communications from Ford.Their email system must be slow. Heres todays email

You know, they could make the whole system a lot more user friendly and also cut down on a lot of excess calls, emails, and chats by just making the order tracker work from the time an order is placed and has an approved COVP/ROVP. Don't have a COVP/ROVP, order tracker doesn't work. That would be sort of a clue that the dealer hasn't done something correctly.Everyone said they wanted more communications from Ford.
They never said they wanted them to be accurate... How was Ford supposed to know you wanted not just more communications, but accurate info at that?
These generic "sorry for the delay" emails don't actually mean anything. What means something is what the order tracker says, what any emails you get that give you specific status info (like this one showing your Maverick has been built), and what the dealer shows in their Vehicle Visibility Report.
Agreed. I think as time goes on and they continue to encourage people to order online, we'll see some changes. My tracker has been 'In order processing' since I got a VIN, when in reality I've had a scheduled build date for a minute. Oh well, once the truck is on the lot, I will quickly forget any of this ever happened and just focus on mod, camping, and build postsYou know, they could make the whole system a lot more user friendly and also cut down on a lot of excess calls, emails, and chats by just making the order tracker work from the time an order is placed and has an approved COVP/ROVP. In addition, they could require dealers to use unique order numbers and sales codes for each customer/order so we wouldn't run into the problem of seven customers with seven different orders at the same dealer all having a order number of say M001. If they did that it would make it easy for the order tracker to find a specific order that doesn't have a VIN assigned yet. Customer name, dealer name, sales code, order number, and boom, here is an approved order waiting for scheduling.
Obviously all that would be too easy. It is better to send "We're Sorry" emails that don't provide any actual information every two months and field thousands of contacts asking for information in between said emails.
Fair question, especially since "built" was in quotation marks on the website, which could mean a lot of things...Soooo is it built? Is it not built?
Comes with a "Guarantee".Fair question, especially since "built" was in quotation marks on the website, which could mean a lot of things...

That's like asking how long is a string.Ok yes, it was built, but how long does it take to ship a vehicle without constraints?
