After all of the supply chain issues, seeing a dealer have to park vehicles in the grass is an encouraging sign! Around here they were leaving empty spaces between cars and the back lots were completely empty.

You'll need it in Iowa for sure. It was about 35 degrees with wind chill in the low 20's when I was there. So I needed a good winter coat for weekly date night with the wifey, and since I am flying out. I have a heavy duty one for work, and knocking around, but it just isnt "dress clothes" grade. We have a Burlington coat factory and so I went and checked it out. Got this $200 Levi's leather coat for $75 out the door. I think it was just waiting there for me. It's an X large, but was mixed in w the medium. Super score. Yeah I know prob made in china for $8

I dont plan on spending much time outdoors there lol. Headed due south ASAP although it was 34° in Abilene Tx. Yesterday morning. You'll need it in Iowa for sure. It was about 35 degrees with wind chill in the low 20's when I was there.
Good looking truck!Well everybodys probably waiting for gratuitous trip pix. The Granger staff were great. Samantha helped me get my android synched up. I brought 2 USBC cords. One was pretty chintzy and wouldent do data transfer. The other one was pretty heavy duty and worked just fine. Cassandra took care of the paperwork, and I was out of there in a flash. There was a welcome surprise gift sitting the back seat. It was a DeeZee tailgate assist strut. I didnt look a gift horse in the mouth and graciously accepted the gift.
My truck is an XLT with the 4k tow group, and I averaged between 70-75 mph, and was getting a high of 30.2mpg. After reading all these different threads of people saying stuff like theres too much road noise, the hood flutters, my mpg isnt good enough, the speakers suck, the center screen isnt sync 4 and other such nonsense, I gotta ask these people something. What the hell was your previous car, an effing S class Benz, an effing Bentley? I found this little truck to be absolutely delightful to drive, quiet, user friendly with my android, peppy as heck, seats extremely comfortable, and found none of these shortcomings these people speak of. Sometimes I think people just gotta nitpick to find something to complain about.
The first 7 hours of this trip I drove through sleet and rain. Stopped in ElDorado Kansas. Days Inn was pretty nice. 7am the next morning i had waffles, and coffee for breakfast. The storm had passed thru that night and it was 24° I started off, made it home by 2:35 with enough time to run it through a brushless car wash and pick up my youngest kiddo from school. He wanted to get a pic like he was driving it. I spent several hours installing some mods on it today lol. I also tossed the keys to my wife, and we went for a drive in it. She was really impressed with it. She said it was like driving a really nice car. It's got about 800 miles on it, and will be due for an oil change soon to dump the break in oil at 1,000 miles

Started another thread for that. Posting it in a way for those who aren't Mechanically inclined can jump in and do this stuff. Plus posting prices, and where to buy.Good looking truck!
I thought the same thing about people's complaints regarding road noise...this thing is quieter than my wife's CRV. As for the hood shake and other quirks, I think we're definitely benefiting from being late in the production run and all those quirks being worked out. Looking forward to your mods!
