I am looking to replace my speakers and possibly add an amp (80x2, 300w max) to my front components and another amp(300w) for a subwoofer. I’ve also purchased a 3 farad capacitor to hopefully help my battery out powering the amps.
My main question is are there any major concerns outfitting a hybrid? I’m not going huge but I don’t want to create any electrical problems while trying to make my sound system a little better. Thanks!

The Crutchfield recommendation for similar hybrids is 35A. This is one of the reasons I chose the Kicker Key and Kicker 10" Hideaway.

Your two 300W amps at max draw is ~50A. Assuming the 80W amp actually approaches 300W.

I haven't had any issues with my setup in my hybrid and I have the kicker 800.5 amp powering fronts/rears and a 10" JL sub. Super happy with the system.
I do NOT have a capacitor and I have had ZERO lighting dimming even when pushing the system as far as I'd like.

What size fuse are running? 100 amp?

Yup, 100 amp, 4ga cables, I have 2 ga as well but the amp takes 4ga. I was considering a distribution block but since the battery is right by the amp my total run is less than 4' so I'm thinking the 4ga is just fine.

Can't argue with success! That is great to hear that my concerns were for naught.

My primary reason for choosing what I did was flimay2k's success with the Key and bi-amping the front components. That said, this is the first time my budget for an audio system was power-based rather than money-based.
