Hybrid insurance quote

My lariat hybrid has no status right now other than "ordered" but i wanted to try and get an understanding of what insurance would look like on it. I checked around the forums and found a VIN number for a hybrid lariat and called AAA to see what the cost would be to add it to my insurance. Well go figure...hybrid mavericks are so new they are not yet in the system. Awaiting call back to get an estimate of the cost.

Anyone else gotten an estimate to insure a hybrid mav?

Price drop when you get to 26 or something like that must be true. My wifes car is more expensive then the maverick as new car with full coverage 2k deductible we pay $22 a month paid in full.

GEICO gave me an estimate by the price of the vehicle. Would be about $10 more a month for me. But she did say won't be sure until I have a good VIN to work with.

I will be going with only liability which would be $12.5 a month thru geico. Full coverage with $250 deductible would be $82 a month for reference.

I got quoted $350 for 6 months with $1,000 deductibles with Progressive. Insurance rates have been steadily coming in Michigan. There was a time I was nearly double that.
