Wouldn't insurance have variables of location, age, driving record, credit record, etc... that would make a nationwide comparison somewhat inconsistent?

My assigned VIN is not active yet because my Maverick is currently not built. I am in the state of Texas.
Allstate says the 2022 Maverick is also still too new and not in their system yet for quoting so all they could do is a very rough estimate.
I am on the Allstate milewise plan since I only drive about 5000 miles a year with almost all city miles thus why I am getting the Hybrid Maverick.
We have very good coverages of:
Liability 250/500/250
Collision ACV $250 deductible
Comprehensive ACV $250 deductible
Uninsured/Underinsured 50/100/50
Property Damage $25,000 - I will up this when insuring the Maverick
Medical Payments $2000 each person
On my seven year old Honda Fit Ex (that I just sold to Carvana for $16,523) my rate was:
Daily rate of $0.77 + $0.029 per mile. So for one year and 5000 miles the cost is $426.05 yearly or $35.50 per month.
The very rough quote for the 2022 Hybrid Maverick is:
Daily rate of $1.71 + $0.000 per mile (unlimited mileage). So for one year cost would be $624.15 yearly or $52.01 per month. When the 2022 Hybrid Maverick gets into the system a more reasonable (and lower) daily rate with a per mile rate will become available. Allstate thinks that will happen by the first of 2022 which works out fine as my Hybrid Maverick won't be delivered until early January 2022.

It depends. Your age, your gender, your driving record, and where you live are all factors.
Indiana, $43.07/mo as spelled out in the attached photo. I'm hopeful that it may change a bit once I actually have the vehicle, though.

My Maverick Hybrid is being delivered soon as it is currently at the Mesquite Intermodal Terminal since 8:27 PM yesterday and waiting for a Vehicle Carrier to take it to AutoNation Ford in Frisco TX.
With that happening I contacted Allstate for a more recent quote.
First they said no hybrids can be on the milewise program (which makes zero sense as hybrids have been around for decades).
Then when they finally asked someone who new the answer is that yes the 2022 Ford Maverick Hybrid can be on the milewise program but until they get the OBD II dongle verified I will be paying a flat daily rate with unlimited miles.
The first quote was $1.83 per day but increasing my deductible from $250 to $500 reduced that to $1.69 per day or $615.16 yearly. That works out to be an additional $189.11 yearly increase from my 2015 Fit or $15.76 monthly increase.
The other changes to the policy was:
Uninsured/Underinsured 50/100/50
Property Damage $50,000
They are sending the OBD II dongle for the milewise program to me but to not plug it in until they okay it. When it is activated my rates will go down.

XLT Hybrid with co-pilot. $41.83/month or $251/6 months 250/500/250, 250/500 (deductibles) with progressive for me. Please note this is based on adding a vehicle to my existing policy that already has 2 vehicles on it. Its not a standalone quote for Maverick.

Allstate now has the Milewise OBDII adapter available for all Mavericks (including Hybrids) which allows for the use of pay-per-mile rates instead of a flat rate unlimited mile rate on the milewise program.

For those who drive infrequent or lower mileage yearly the savings on pay-per-mile programs can get savings of 35% or more.
My old rate on 4/01/22 was $2.01 per day unlimited mileage
New rate is $0.88 per day and 3.7c per mile
Being retired I only drive 4000 miles annually so having the pay-per-mile option available is saving me $132.79 every six months or 36% off the $367.83 unlimited mile rate.
These are for a six month policy
$367.83 = 183 days * $2.01 per day
$367.83 total for unlimited milewise
$161.04 = 183 days * $0.88 per day +
$74.00 = 2000 miles * $0.037 per mile
$235.04 total for pay-per-mile milewise
