Hybrid battery failure

I just had my hybrid battery fail at 80,000 miles. Is this normal or did I just get a bad one. Maverick is a 22 lariat. It was replaced under warranty because of the codes.

Hmmm..
Please pardon our confusion if members need clarification.
There is no Hybrid battery in an EcoBoost. The 12 volt EcoBoost battery is situated in the engine compartment
Unless of course you've mislabeled your profile and you actually own a hybrid in which there are two batteries a high voltage Hybrid battery, located on the rear driver side under the truck and a 12 volt battery contained inside the passenger compartment underneath the rear bench seat.

Is that the high-voltage battery under the body or is that the 12V battery?
The 12V battery is pretty common because of the misprogramming, but the HVB is extremely rare. The 12V battery is covered by the 3/36 bumper-to-bumper warranty, and the HVB is covered by the 8/100 hybrid components warranty.

If it’s the 12V battery, welcome to the club! Many of us here have been in “The Deep Sleep Club”! Mine went down to 38% on my ‘22 hybrid Mav Lariat at 28K, and my wife’s ‘22 hybrid Escape with 13K miles on it. Both were replaced under warranty for free. If I had to pay for the battery to be replaced, I’d buy what everyone else has replaced their Motorcraft battery with…an AGM battery.

Or the 12 volt battery (inside the truck, under the back seat)?

HV battery failure is very rare.
12v battery failure is very common.

In reading the profile for the poster, to me it looks like the 2.0 is in his Fusion since that is the vehicle mentioned directly above the 2.0.

Had no issues w/ the "turning battery off" warning until yesterday, guess the no driving for a week in the winter caused it. I've plugged a charger in and let it charge the battery overnight, should be good

I have a 23 Ford Maverick hybrid in mine failed the other day got it replaced
