Huge delay in my shipped Truck :(

Just got given information from the dealer that my truck that was supposed to arrive 11 days ago is sitting in a CSX Train yard in Ohio where it will be till March 10th now.

Super bummed out about this.

I have been dealing with the same thing and it just sits at the rail yard!

Did your dealer give you a reason for the delay? My truck is going to the same train yard (Lordstown) and is supposed to be delivered next week

Sadly no reason was given at all and he genuinely seemed like they would be happy if i cancelled my order. I'm sure so they could mark it up more and sell it to the next person.

I have no real bargaining power here sadly lol.

If you check your ford order status or rail tracking does it have an eta? I would be concerned dealer is trying to push you to back out.

Mine was supposed to be delivered early january, it sat in multiple yards but the ford tracking always updated and pushed it out. Once arrived in DE yard it shows eta to dealer in PA tomorrow. The current yard is the last stop. My Maverick also made some weird stops going north south east and west.

Seems odd that it would sit until march. I would call ford direct and seek an explanation why to clear this up.

Yeah the eta is march 4-march 10. To be clear i live in florida and its in a yard half way across the country. Its not just sitting in town.

mine show the same.. FL dealer, was 1/26th. now show march!

I would hazard a guess that Mother Nature is behind the delay. With the snow that we have received over the past 10 days - I have over two feet in my yard, they may not have the help in the railyard to clear the snow to load and ship. Just a guess

Absence makes the heart...Mine just came in from the trainyard in Petersburg, VA, yesterday they said it was still in the trainyard according to the tracker but just got a call today saying that it had arrived at the dealership in Northern Va...so the tracker does not always update expediently, good luck

WeTher and lack of truck drivers available to move it at its final rail destination. It’s not that they aren’t working, it’s that the demand is that high.

I get it, its just very dissapointing to know its sitting in a rail yard somewhere when it could be in my loving garage.

Been waiting for mine awhile as well. It shipped out of the plant on March 17th. Sat a very long time in Arizona, and was in Petersburg VA. as of Apr 23rd. Dealer says it should be here by the 28th. Funny/ not funny thing is that Ford originally said I would have it by Apr 13th. Ha, that didn't happen. 9 months from order to delivery is just unreal.
