Omg...I give up on this.
Please keep in mind when this video was made. This thread is trending again but the video that started the thread is from September.

Correct, if the dealer puts in the order for a customer as a retail (stock order) then they will be over looked if there are retail orders in there. Ford is not scheduling stock orders until they get the custom orders fulfilled.
You equate retail orders and stock orders in the above paragraph. Did you intend to do that? I thought retail and stock orders followed two different paths. I need a clarification of terms. Does “retail[=](stock order)”, as you state above?
Then if a retail order is different from a stock order, I don’t understand all your concern over the allocation process if an order is processed thru ROVP. Allocations should only be of concern to dealers for their stock orders, not to retail customers; but you go on and on about allocations in the second half of the video. Why should the retail customer be concerned about a dealers’ problems.

Contacted my dealer and my rapid red FE hybrid has been approved through ROVP since 7/5/21 and they have a Lariat 2.0 AWD FX4 in transit now. Looking forward in test driving it and looking all around it.
Good news

Now that the OK to build for hybrids is in place, we customers have to look for other sources of delays in scheduling production. Your video from September is timely again.
I called Ford and the customer service representative said my build is awaiting a dealer allocation. So I suspect my dealer was clueless about the COVP. But the second half of your video about allocations makes me doubt that conclusion.

I did say that incorrectly. Should have been "retail (customer order) "

Correct, for instance, we had over 400 orders needing scheduled at the beginning of December. 118 got scheduled, so the other 282 would say they are waiting dealer allocations. Your dealer may have had some allocations just not enough to fulfill all their orders leaving your order out of scheduling.

I ordered a base XL Ecoboost with zero options from you guys the other day for my dad. I hope you get a lot of allocations in January. :ROFLMAO:

So I am still totally and completely confused about the role of dealer allocations in this process. In your video you state that retail orders verified thru ROVP are “above dealer allocations”. In the comment above, you state that you have 282 retail orders awaiting allocation to your dealership. To my mind, these statements are contradictory and in opposition to each other. Please clarify the role of dealer allocations in retail orders without reversing what you said in one paragraph in the next paragraph. You are trying to be helpful, but I do not see any consistency here.
