All I will say is I didn't let car care nut's commentary on how the hybrid engine bay was put together deter me.

I don't really care that much as long as things that are likely to need service can be serviced without 20 hours of labor, and plastic engine covers that look "tidy" but just trap more heat in the engine and float around in the ocean decades later have always been stupid.
I have to say the 25 and up 2.0 EB engine bay looks much neater and nicer than the 2.0 EB 22-24 engine bay!!

My 25 Lobo is my first turbo.

Finally figured out if the air flows clockwise or counterclockwise from my intake into the turbo through my intercooler into the throttle body. Happens so fast!

Clockwise in the northern hemisphere?
Counter in the Aussie versions?

On U.S. models, clockwise. On Canadian models, counterclockwise. It's because from the border northward, the ambient air is cooler.

New plugs going into my buddies 69 Impala.
We sat on the fenders with our feet on the inner fender.
The air breather was a perfect table to set your beer on.
Valve cover gasket fails, leaks. We’d set them on the garage floor and stand on the things to reshape them flat while we changed points, rotor and cap.
Worked like a charm.

Anybody remember draining your oil overnight or gravity bleeding brakes overnight ?

How about putting the battery in the trunk
Of an Camaro and buying 4 gage wire long enough to reach it ?
Why you ask ?
It had the same effect on handling as moving the engine and tranny back six inches.

Or cutting a new front spring bolt hole just above the factory hole to drop the rear end
to level. That helped with traction in fast corners.

It was always in the details.

Anyone remember toilet paper oil filters ?
Good for one race.

I'm impressed my engine's in the front! And the oil filter isn't a soup strainer! And I don't need a spare tire to power my windshied wiper fluid! Ahhh the good ole days...

I have a 25 Lariat, it is my second Mav and i just love it.. I was a ford mechanic way back when and for some reason decided I should go out and look under the hood of my Mav, after staring at it for a few minutes, I could not even figure out where the spark plugs were.. About the only thing i recognized was the windshield washer fill tube.. So I laughed at my self and shut the hood..
I am still wondering if these 4 cylinder motors have a one or two barrel carburetors, did you find the carburetor?

Is it a heavily modified Small Block Ford (SBF), likely a 302 or a 351 Windsor?!
High performance or racing?! #guessing

I can tell there's a high-performance carburetor topped with a KRC Power Steering/Induction style air cleaner

I am still wondering if these 4 cylinder motors have a one or two barrel carburetors, did you find the carburetor?
Our little 122 cubic inch EB turbo engines suck more air than the four barrel carburetor on a 1970’s Mustang 302 cubic inch V8:)

Ford’s recommended oil change interval was 3-4 months on those V8’s by the way.

Although those 4 barrel carburetors were not oil cooled like the pizza oven hot turbos of our “6 barrel” EB’s.

But 6 month oil change intervals are ok using modern oil in our turbos I guess…

The 1994 Isuzu Pickup (also known as the Isuzu Faster in some markets) was the last carbureted vehicle sold in the United States, featuring a 2.3-liter engine with a 2-barrel carburetor. While most passenger cars moved to fuel injection by 1990, the 1991 Ford LTD Crown Victoria (police/fleet models) and 1991 Jeep Grand Wagoneer were the last American-branded vehicles with carbureted engines.

The normally aspirated Atkinson 2.5L has the equivalent of a 2-barrel.

The 2.0L EB has the equivalent of a “6-barrel”. Sucks like an industrial grade vacuum cleaner.
