I adjusted the 8-way power seat while outside the driver's side and noticed the "pitch-forward" effect you described as I raised the seat. I'm only 5'8" so top adjustment puts the front of seat bottom at the most level position relative to the rear of the seat bottom. Might STILL get a small tapered cushion will see how it feels after a few more drives. I like sitting up as high as possible anyways.I know I'm going to regret wading into this, but 9&10 aren't missing, they're just linked to 1 & 2. It would be better if they actually were missing and the seat base angle did not move.
Pulling up on the control raises the whole seat at the same time it changes the seat angle, pitching the seat base forward.
Pushing down lowers the whole seat and pitches the seat base backward.
In the middle range of height adjustment it's comfortable. At the bottom, which I favor in almost all vehicles, it's very uncomfortable because the cushion is very uneven with the front raised, causing the leg comfort and circulation issues.
I have plenty of headroom so I gave up and raised my seat until the seat base was comfortable and then learned to live with the height.
Thanks for this post!
