Oh, snap! I was wondering how long before somebody would bring that up and it didn't take longHave you tried falling asleep while driving?
Roman, Can you tell us;I can't find the volume control. I thought it worked as shown in the video. Can you please tell me how much does the volume up feature cost at ford service? I just want to listen to music from time to time. Maybe it has something to do with the two new driving modes they added in the ford service? - https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/drive-modes.46259/#post-1013449

Turn the VOL knob up/down while the Nav is barking directions. For Navigation I am not sure where it would be
I'm sure you opened a complaint with Ford directly. If you have not you should consider it. At least gets it on the record with Ford. You look like a serious person in the picture. Try putting yourself in my shoes. You bought a new car and the volume doesn't work, what would you do? Would you go to the dealer? I've been there six times. Twice they took my car away for two days. Tell me, what would you do if this was your problem?
Lemons don't have volume controls, anyway! You don't have a lemon law in Canada.
Firstly, thanks for the constructive and questions.Roman, Can you tell us;
1. Are you using carplay or android auto?
2. If so, is your phone sync'd correctly?
3. Are you telling us that no sound is coming from the head unit at all no matter how you use it and the dealer couldn't figure it out and just sent you on your way?
I'm truly trying to take you as serious regarding this issue. If you are serious, 6 trips and no fix means I park the truck at the dealer and leave it there till they get their act together and either replace the head unit of fix it.
Thank you, I'll look into itI'm sure you opened a complaint with Ford directly. You may try a different dealer if it's convenient.
You don't have a lemon law in Canada. The move is on the way to create one. You could get involved or you could stand on the sidelines.
You also have the option of arbitration.

Look at my threads I've created where I have the radio on and it's screaming really loud and I can't turn the sound down.Sorry about the "Backlash", but your original post and video is a little encryptic, to understand....
Just so we are on the 'Same Page"....

I just took this photo a few minutes ago... And caption in the photo is what I just did. And it worked for me...
So, it is NOT working for you??
Also there should "NOT BE" a plan $$$ for using the Radio...
Jerry
Have you tried resetting the head unit?Look at my threads I've created where I have the radio on and it's screaming really loud and I can't turn the sound down.
Yes my friend I do it every day! Thank you ) But I have a suspicion that other ford owners don't do it every day.Have you tried resetting the head unit?
SYNC master reset
- Press and hold the Seek up and Power buttons until the screen goes black
- Wait for the system to reset
- Press the Power button to turn the system back on
- If the issue persists, perform a master reset
- Press the Gear icon on the SYNC screen
- Select Settings
- Select System
- Scroll down and select Master Reset
- Disconnect any USB devices, Bluetooth devices, or SD cards
- Press Yes to complete the reset
Well, I am perplexed as to what the issue might be. I use android auto. Have been for over a year and 3 months. I don't have the issues you are experiencing. Sounds like you have tried everything you could.Firstly, thanks for the constructive and questions.
I am using samsung s23 and android auto. I connect my phone via cable and bluetooth. Sometimes the ford head unit does not see my phone at all. The head unit gives glitches: no sound adjustment not from the screen not from the steering wheel. This is only one hundredth of all the problems. I cure the problem by pressing two buttons to reset the head, as switching the ignition on and off does not always help. (Changed cable, reset connections, reset screen, tried a different phone)
Yesterday I got 2 new glitches which I managed to film and would like to create topics with these glitches, but as I see most people here gloat or instead of constructive write nonsense - ‘ford has nothing to do with your glitchy adroid’.
I've been to two dealers, all they can do is check for errors - no errors. No errors, no problems. I realised that the only proof can only come from video.
I asked the last dealer to keep my car until they fix the problem and provide me with another car. I was told that I should write to the manager who sold you the car and go to the salon where you bought it.
Too busy shit-posting on forums to sleep. Sleep comes when phone is down and they're behind the wheel.Have you tried falling asleep while driving?
