hot spot refund

Has Anybody had to deal with fords Special field action 23L05 .
They are offering $20.00 refund to trucks produced without the mobile hot spot feature .
I ,m having no luck getting a refund . I keep getting the runaround .
One more thing ford has done to piss of their customers .

I got my check a couple of days ago. IMO, the process was fairly easy.

I'm pretty sure the hotspot removal -$20 was right on the window sticker and reflected in the MSRP. I don't think its something they'll give you separately.

Vehicles built without the hotspot feature should have had the feature delete denoted on the window sticker with the corresponding $20 credit, as you reference. However, for some period of time, they built vehicles with the hotspot delete yet they did not list it on the window sticker nor provide the $20 credit. Instead, at least some window stickers even continued to show the blurb about activating the hotspot that the vehicle did not contain.

Thus, Special Field Action 23L05 as referenced by op, which purports to provide a $20 refund to compensate for the hotspot delete.

Wow ... glad i saw this post ... i found out i do have a letter about this from Ford.
I didn't even read it ... just tossed it in the "Ford Recall" pile with the others

They can just credit my Ford Pass account +$20 ... no need to spend money to send trash.
Give me 20 and save the environment at the same time

You have a 2022, according to my documentation this was for certain 2023's.
