TAILGATE LETTERING - FORD REFUND IMPOSSIBLE

I ordered tailgate lettering for the Maverick. Since I ordered I decided against the lettering and I contacted Ford parts online for a refund. My first contact with them was in mid October. I have called Ford parts online multiple times and they are less than helpful and keep saying my Transaction has been escalated (whatever that means) because they cannot seem to cancel the order and, therefore, can’t issue a refund without the escalation process. Does anybody have any insight and/or other phone numbers that I can call to get this taken care of? I never understand how companies can immediately charge your credit card when you purchase something but it takes an act of Congress to get a refund.

Can you return it to your nearest Ford dealer? When I buy stuff online from Walmart or Menards if it doesn't work I can return it to the physical stores in town. Does Ford not operate this way?

That's the problem...I never received the lettering. I canceled the order 2 weeks after I placed the order (in October). I was told I would receive the refund within 10 business days...unless my math is wrong, its been MORE that 10 business days. :ROFLMAO:

Definitely do a credit card charge back. Your card company will temporarily issue the refund and then give 60 days for Ford to respond to the dispute proving that they refunded you. If they can't, you get the refund permanently.

That's why you should just order directly from your dealer and you won't have to deal with the online butt holes if you change your mind
