Does the Lariat come with blind spot mirrors? No lux
It does so long as it doesn't have CP360. XL is the only trim that without CP360 doesn't have a blindspot mirror.

Gods I miss Tom and Ray, and Car Talk. It's the end of an era.

Anyhow, yeah, I remember them addressing mirror positioning on air, and directing people to their site for more comprehensive information it. Basically, far too many people have their mirrors angled waaaaay too far in.

Mirrors are not supposed to have huge portions taken up by the rear view of your own vehicle. The sides of your vehicle are not going to move in relation to your position, yet so many people have their mirrors trained on them.

Or everyone could just pay attention while they are driving
I still look in my blind spots, even though I normally already know what’s there

I have always set my mirrors the way Tom and Ray recommend in that post. It's how I was taught in driver's ed, and just makes sense. My wife does the same. She even jokes that we have to get two Mavericks because there's no "driver position memory" to re-set the seat, mirrors, etc. and that without it, it would take her five minutes to adjust everything before she can drive. So she wants her own, instead. I can live with that – provided we ever get those Mavericks! (Patience: A virtue I have precious little of...)

About the only thing other than mpg that has been a problem with my 2012 Chevy Colorado is the blind spot. The headrests do not come off. The first day I get my Maverick, in 2028, I will be removing three headrests.
Assuming no one is sitting back there I hope. Headrests are part of the safety equipment.

XLT/Lariat without 360.
I just happened to have a pic from an XLT that shows that mirror from when I stopped by my dealer to change something on my order.
you can see it has a wide view section on the mirror.

I assume it doesn’t have 360

Many people "need" to see their own vehicle in the sideview so they can judge how far away the vehicle is.

They don't understand if you aim the sideview mirrors correctly, if there is a vehicle in the mirror AT ALL, it's too close to you to change to that lane.

Honestly if the mirrors are wide enough and you aim them properly, vehicles should be seen in the rearview, sideview, or peripheral vision without turning the head. The only time I need to turn my head is on a highway with more than 2 lanes- so I know that the 3rd lane person (blindspot) is not coming into the lane next to me (covered by mirrors or peripheral vision.)

I worry about sharing the road with these people. You should only have the smallest sliver of your vehicle visible, so that you can mentally place vehicles in relation to yours.

I have my mirrors set so that there is continuous coverage. As a vehicle leaves the view of one mirror, it seamlessly moves into the next, without disappearing at any point.

This configuration minimizes blind spots, although drivers should still always shoulder check before changing lanes.

Not sure what the issue is, I bought a 2.0 Maverick off lot for biz and driving it so far have absolutely no issues with visibility at all. Are you sure you adjusted the mirrors and they are not folded in? I love driving the Maverick only 600 miles so far.

you still need to turn your head to check and see if there's a car next to you each time you change lane.
Yep. Your mirrors won't ever change that fact.

I have zero issues with my mirrors
Same, plus mine has little blind-spot mirrors built in.
Even without those, the Maverick has a lot of glass. Nothing to complain about when compared to most crossovers these days with their rising belt lines.
