I don't see anything sketchy with the pricing.. I do think there's something a bit sketchy about someone who'd spec out a $37.5k Ford Maverick though 🥴

Not sure what you came here for? If there are options on your window sticker that you didn't want, it's a little too late. You'll need to get back in line and submit a new order with exactly what you want, nothing more, nothing less.. or just pay up and take delivery of this one.
I'd rather pay $37k for a fully loaded Maverick that suits my needs than twice that for a similarly spec'd F-150 that is way too much truck.

Don't really know what's sketchy about that. Not all of us are buying XL's, sir.

Damn, 32 out the door, TN must not have sales tax. Even 32k from a dealer here would end up being about 36k out the door once I visit the taxman and pay sales tax and register here in good old Missou.
TN has 7% sales tax on vehicle's total purchase price.

https://www.caranddriver.com/resear...arsDirect, Tennessee,$1400 in state sales tax

Quote: As reported by CarsDirect, Tennessee state sales tax is 7 percent of a vehicle's total purchase price. For example, if you buy a car for $20,000, then you'll pay $1400 in state sales tax. According to It Still Runs, Tennessee cities and counties can charge a local sales tax of up to 2.75 percent on the first $1600 of a car's total purchase price.

Can you decode this for us so we can figure out how you saved $4K?
A/Z/D plans are for Ford Employees(A), Ford Retirees(Z), And Ford Dealer Personal(D).

A/Z are the best deal
D is $100 more than A/Z

The benefit of these is you get discounts on adding options. So if I were to get a base Maverick it would not benefit anyone.
Fully Loaded from the factory and dealer options give you the most discounts. Which on mine will be 4k. Taxes are split and with my trade in 2019 Ranger I will be out the door for around 30-32k.

Also the longer it takes the more equity I have, when I bought my Ranger in Dec of 2019 I paid 28K for an XLT Ranger 4x4 with Black Out Package. Currently I am being offered 34k for it. So these figures above do not have the variable of how much ive paid on the Ranger over two years just trading it in. With what ive paid my out the door price will be 20-22K depending on when it shows.

$36,445 was the sticker on mine, so far worth every penny.

And before anyone ask how, Sticker on the ranger was 37050. When I bought it Ford has 10K worth of rebates, plus my D plan. Taxes on top and out at 28K

Mine is 36,860 MSRP for the FE. But im out the door for around 32 with D plan.
Ford Dealership employee pricing. So about Invoice - Holdback - Advertising + $375.
The OTD number of $32k from a $36,860 MSRP in TN really does not seem to add up.

Tennessee has a 7% sales tax on vehicle purchases

So that $32K becomes $29,906.54 before sales tax.

Invoice price is very close to MSRP price. On my MSRP $24,620 Maverick I have an invoice price of $24,122 or savings of $498 off MSRP. So going with a 50% increase in MSRP would get to around $750 savings. Lets just pad it to $1000 savings.

That puts the D-Plan savings at $5,953.46. Since the D-Plan adds the $375 that would mean (Holdback + Advertising) is $6,328.46 o_O

My Maverick is purchased on the A-Plan which is $100 better than the D-Plan and I only got it at the invoice price.

Do you have a trade-in that helps reduce the OTD price?

No t to get all skeptical, but other threads addressIng the fact EPA mpg has been announced state that emissions data have not been announced. However, it is reported on this window sticker. I’m sure there is an obvious logical explanation. I’m just not sure what that would be. Does anybody have any thoughts/insights?

The Ranger trade at 34k is probably wiping out most of the sales tax if Tenessee credits it on vehicle purchases like many do.

Doing rough estimation for a build at MSRP $36,860 comes down to invoice ~$35,716. Figure another 5% for holdback and advertising + $375 and that comes to $34,306 D-plan.

There's a lot of margin in the options. My build MSRP is $7k more than yours but the invoice discount was $750.

Did your dealer supply you with dealer invoice which displays A/Z/D and X plan pricing all in neat labeled little boxes. Not positive on Xplan but I think so.

This is an Ecoboost. Only hybrids aren’t EPA approved.
