Hello all....I did some searches but didnt find this answer although I am sure it had to be discussed. I plan on ordering a E trailer plug n play hitch wiring kit for my xl hybrid. I love that there is no splicing into my oem harness. My only question is where have you guys been grabbing your power from????? There are three options.....1. Under hood red post... 2. Under back seat 12 volt battery.... 3. The bed came pre wired with pig tails for bed accessories. Not to lead the witness's but I really would like to use the beds pigtail and was wondering if you guys have any success or failures. Thank you

Ok I will give that a shot. I dont plan on any other lights in the bed so it will just be trailer lights hooked up to the pigtail. The Ford instructions are a little fuzzy for me but I need to take a look at what my truck actually has. As I recall I have a dangling wire with a plug and play plug behind the plastic cap in the bed. They then provided the opposite end of the plug n play plug with a couple feet of wire in the glove compartment to be used if needed. That will be a two wire part...hot and ground. I will take a look before I ask stupid questions.....seems pretty straight forward to me.....hot to hot and run the ground to the frame ground that is already there.
