Got my email & VIN today. VIN 97xx scheduled for 12/19. Looks like the highest VIN in this thread, so far. Cactus Grey XLT EB with no add ons whatsoever.
That means nearly 10,000 Mavericks scheduled between Nov 23 and Dec 23 or close to 2500 Mavericks per week. Seems as through Ford is anticipating a good supply of parts.

Either that, or I can expect multiple emails between now and 12/19 delaying my truck until December 2027.

Yes, with Ford, anticipation does not mean it will come true.

Just curious, when thread title is asking for highest VIN, why do people post their own VINs that are lower than ones already posted?

Because reading is hard - It's like when someone poses a question and 16 people all respond with the same answer, days apart.
Look at question > Ignore comments > reply

Just curious? Why do you think others care what you ponder on? It is all good information, especially if they would provide the trim level and if EB or Hybrid.

According to the tracker spreadsheet, @Tone has a PRA098xx vin. He's the highest who has submitted info to that.

There are features on this forum that allow users to give one another feedback and indications to show if they care about a specific comment. Down in the bottom corner of each comment is a button that is used by the reader to indicate a reaction to the comment. Presumably, if one does not care about the comment, they will not feel inclined to indicate an emotional response. If someone does care enough to express their feelings about a particular comment, then that tool can be used to express the feeling.

The comment author can use these reactions to see if anyone cared about the comment they posted. So, to answer your question, I think that others care about my pondering because at least one user chose to use the aforementioned reaction button to indicate so.

Oh hey, check it out, it was actually you. Thank you for your interest and care.

The vitamin content of orange juice is good info as well, but not warranted in a thread asking a totally different question. The best forums have a good SNR. When it is just a bunch of random users blurting out random stuff, it lessens the enjoyment for everyone.

There is also an "IGNORE" option and welcome to that club.

What are the risks of posting the full last 6 of your VIN?

Very low but some people don't like to.

Your VIN is readable from outside the car. It is recorded every time you go to have repairs or an oil change. Is known by your insurance company and DMV, etc.

But some people do not want their internet identity linked to a specific serial number / vehicle.

Ok, so for 22 we had NRAXXXXX which got us through the first 99999 mavericks, then ford moved to NRBXXXXX. For 23 they seem to have started with PRAXXXXX to get us through the first 99,999. So sequential vins that denote model year. Correct? They went from N, skipped O, to avoid confusion to P?
