Highest VIN 115,100 dealer ordered.

Over 100,000 VINs! If the letters before the last 5 digits are NRB instead of NRA, you have to add 100K to the number.

Sequential VIN numbers are assigned to Mavericks as they are initially scheduled for production. This means it can be used to indicate how many vehicles Ford believes they can make through that date from the last 5 digits of the VIN

From the MTC Tracker here https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...ck-order-tracking-list-stats-enter-yours.165/
The highest VIN number I found was 67218 scheduled for the week of 5/5. There are probably higher VINs assigned since scheduling has occurred up through the week of 5/23 11/7.

Please post in this topic if you have a VIN higher than the one listed in this first post. Also include the production week your Mav was initially scheduled for when the VIN was assigned.

I will update this first post as higher VIN numbers are posted.
mine is suposed to be built the week of the 26 sept and my vin is nrb12383

Kinda stunning they could have any build capacity left, given how many scheduled orders keep sliding closer and closer to mid-November completion...
If some item is not available when it was expected to be then they could have 1 or 100 or ? Slots open up which might be used for dealer order or maybe that slot cannot be used at all?

Just received official Ford scheduling notice on my October XL order the week of November 7th. 113,XXX
I’m happy but also bummed that it’s not a 2023 with cruise.
I thought 2022 production was cutoff?
I’ve also ordered a 2023 XLT since I thought the 2022 order was dead.
This entire process has been a wild ride.
I honestly don’t Know what to believe now. Will I actually take delivery of my 2022 or will it be a ‘new’ 2023 build?

No worries. Use this XL as a trade in when your 2023 comes in.

It will be a 22. Buy it. You may never see a 23.

It's interesting looking back.
In retrospect they were two months behind back in April.

Scheduled dates of mid May were actually built mid July.

I got the “shipped” email on my truck this morning…. So if they keep doing what they’re doing, you will have your truck just before Christmas…. Great Christmas present for yourself. They estimate 12/2 to 12/8 for delivery on mine, so figure 4 weeks from builddate. Good luck.

I saw this link in the 2024 VIN post.
Was curious how Late, late, late a build my 2022 was.
If VIN reached 1151XX. That would translate to NRB151XX. Mine was NRB143XX, so I was a "tail-end Charlie" :giggle:

Yep. I thought I was fairly late with my NRB05275 in 2022 (now sold and driving a 23). Although to be fair I got bumped approximately one month before I was actually built (scheduled build week slid a total of 4 weeks). So I had one of the later produced trucks, but with a not quite as late VIN. Weird how that works. The VIN does not nessisarily directly convert to how "late" it was built in the production year. Just how late it was assigned a VIN.

Ok,
Mine is late though.
The label on the sill states = 11 / 2022
My Window Sticker = October 31, 2022

Just for fun, I will have to see when the First MY23s were built..

You definitely have one of the highest/latest VIN that got produced (not one of the canceled ones).

As for when they started making 23's, I think sometime shortly after November 18th. I think possibly November 21st (the Monday after the 18th).

I say that because my 22 was produced on the 17th. Looking back thru the chat logs I had with Ford Support, I have one that says (when I asked on 11/18)...

"I am able to see that your vehicle is In Production and in the Body Shop process. This update was provided on Nov-17-2022. I don't see an ETA for completion yet, but please feel free to check back in with us for a status update"

Yes, roughly. 2022 production was intended to end a few weeks earlier, but was extended into November, somewhere late in the game (don't recall specifically when they announced they were going to keep making 22's for a few more weeks).

If I recall correctly, the intended production range was supposed to be closer to what we are seeing today for the 23 model year. They are switching to producing 24 model year this October. For the 22s it was well definitely into November (as you and I both found out and benefited from).

Back in 2022, someone posted ( I think it was @commadorebob ), about the legalities of what can be called a "22" or a "23" or whatever model year they claim it is. The vehicle can be produced across a surprisingly large range of calendar dates/years and still legally be called a certain model year. If I recall correctly, they could even make a 22 model year in calendar year 2023 if they wanted to.
