Just saw this on the October Orders Unite thread. looks like we are over 100k.
" I just got an email from my sales person saying I have a VIN (00187) " by Bear

Figuring 1.5k a week so perhaps 9/19 build.

Nobody could do anything even with the entire number. In my state everyone’s vin is on the registration on the windshield. Dealerships have vins on the window sticker. Not sure why people block license plates either on the photos. 🤷‍♂️
Because they don’t want someone looking up where their vehicle is registered?
But you could also do that with the VIN

I don’t see Mavericks as something thieves would target…. Maybe to keep the crowds down since many people have never seen one in the wild

Ordered 6/29/21. Hybrid XLT, Lux pkg and floor liners. Vin # 9859X. Small Ford dealer in a small town. My dealer and life long friend had an arm wrestling match with his RM last week, and my guy won!!! A few days later, I get scheduled.

so the thieves know where to find catalytic converters easier

Man, congratulations. You deserve yours ASAP. I can't imagine that long wait, and its still going to be awhile before delivered. I just got my vin today, the way they get changed around maybe I will have mine by the end of the year

Vin #985xx for September 19th build week for hybrid, lux pkg and 360. Very surprised numbers are that high.
the total isn't just for retail units and didn't start at# 00001. All those test mules out on the streets are licensed with a VIN on them + the media loaners + the units built for South America, etc. Basically any pre-production unit not intended for sale to the public would still have a VIN tag.

I got an "ETA" from customer service today of Sept 11-17 for my build date of Aug 29. That seems really unlikely to me but fun to know anyways so I won't need to start threads on here about how long mine is stuck at railhead :p

I am build week 8/22 and VIN 917XX. So doesn't that mean I am one week before you but 6,000 VINs ahead of you?

Yes, but I think all those you listed are fairly small numbers. I saw an article that mentioned the number of Mavericks being sold in South America were low, as in the hundreds.

But if you are comparing VINs to the Mav sales numbers that get posted monthly on this site, those sales numbers only include US sales, so they don't include Canada. I would guess Canada may be 10 to 15% of the orders.

I have a Hybrid XLT in alto-blue ordered 10/22/2021 - neither Ford or my dealer contacted me about a VIN, but, last week after calling Ford myself I found out that I am scheduled for the week of 8/08 and my VIN is 944xx.

I went back and found the scheduling email for the week of 8/08 and it looks like I may have been scheduled out around 6/20. Let's see what happens as August 8th approaches
