I'm set on the XLT, hybrid FWD and Carbonized Grey colour. Help pls!!

Things I'm considering:
1)360 "Co" Pilot
2)Luxury Package (If not with Luxury package-- based on my research (3) Spray in BedLiner would be worth it
4)Tonneu cover (Hard fold)-- would this be worth it?-- is this easy to take off? Or fold? If so which one is the best bet?
5)Floor liners, all weather tray style set + carpeted floor mats

Anything else you would suggest? Do you think Luxury package is worth it? I live in Canada so I'm just considering this package for Winter's sake (heated mirrors and heated wipers are most important and spray in bedliners in this luxury package for me).

How would you build yours? My use would be mostly in city driving(daily driver), camping/outdoor stuff like kayaking, snowboaring, etc.. towing is not so much in the picture.

You want a tonneau cover for sure, and one of the hard variety is definitely preferable.

I've never owned a pick-up, either, but the tonnea will help keep the bed in tip-top shape along with keeping whatever small items you haul dry.

For the bed cover, people here have been sharing aftermarket options that are supposedly the same as the factory ones for a couple hundred dollars less. If you're half way decent with a wrench, it may be worth considering to save a few bucks. If you'd prefer it done right, I suppose ordering one would be the better move.

Yeah Ford contracts a third party anyway and just stamps it with Ford logo. Only thing that cover will have 3 year/36k from Ford for the time being.

XLT plus Lux is worth it. I hear there are delays in stand alone spray in liner and floor mats. If you getting srpay in liner through Lux package there is no delay.

That is what my dealer told me yesterday when I went to change my order from Xlt Lux to Lariat Lux

Maybe It's Maverick

I skipped the carpet mats. I only use the all weather rubber ones in any car/truck I've owned for years. Also, I think copilot 360 is an inexpensive add-on if I remember correctly. Might as well add it. I don't put covers on my truck beds b/c I use them too frequently to be bothered. It all depends on what you end up using the truck for. You could always buy a cover and then remove it later if it annoys you.

Since you asked.. my 2 cents...
I ordered the XLT with LUX package and CoPilot360 (That's it) here is why:
I wanted the spray-in bed liner, full size spare, and trailer hitch anyway. the difference in price was something like $1250 to get all the extras in the LUX package.
CoPilot360 safety features are just great to have for $540 and should help insurance costs.
The XLT does come with carpeted front floor mats standard (even though not specifically listed) as verified by Long Mcarthur Ford YouTube videos; I can always purchase the all weather mats separate from Ford or an aftermarket later (financing floor mats??? hmmm)
All the other accessories can be purchased later (not financed)

I recently ordered an XLT with lux and copilot 360 packages. I rationalized the lux package with "hey, at least I didn't spend more for the Lariat." Seriously, this truck is very reasonably priced and I know I will appreciate the features of that package. As for the 360, I think the blind spot feature makes it worth it.

I have never owned a truck before, either, so I want a hard tonneau cover to keep certain things in the bed dry. (Just don't know yet whether to get roll up or trifold.) My dealer advised not ordering any accessories so I'm going to get one installed by the dealer or go aftermarket. Same with all weather mats.

Have an XLT ordered. In Minnesota so the Lux pkg with heated seats, steering wheel, wipers end mirrors made sense, I also wanted the included spray in bed liner. I got the factory soft roll up tonneau even though it was overpriced because it will probably be winter by the time the Maverick is delivered and I didn’t want a bed full of snow (even though there will be aftermarket covers, there is no guarantee that they will be available right away, there is development time). I got the factory rubber mats for the same reason as the tonneau; I plan on using them year-round so no need for carpet mats. Definitely CoPilot 360 because I always seem to get parked between two huge vehicles and I love the bold spot warning on the highway. I also got the hybrid and have already bought winter tires.

Heydaddy, I was curious about the reference to heated wipers in your post. I ordered an XLT with Lux package and on my window sticker and build sheet it seems to have been omitted. I too thought this was included in Lux package. Did Ford do another bait and switch like they did on the spray in bedliner?

You live in either Washington or Canada. Regardless, get the all-weather tray floor mats.

BE CAREFUL! Constraints will hold a lot of orders up. I ordered the following and here's why:

Iconic Silver
Hybrid
XLT
XLT Luxury Pkg
Ford 360 co-Pilot Pkg

If you order the Floor Liners or Tonneau Cover, there's a good possibility one or both of those will delay the Build Date for you due to constraints. I'd hold off on those and just buy then after your Maverick arrives, You should be able to save some dollars and get the exact same items.

ADDITIONALLY...Be sure your dealer gives you the Sales Order with YOUR SIGNATURE & DATE on it, takes a copy of your Drivers License, and insist the dealer place the order as a PRIORITY CODE !0. If the dealer does this correctly, you should get an email order confirmation from Ford within 24 hours. If you do not receive this, go back to the dealer and ask why. Then...just be extremely patient, as we live in a world that is jacked up in so many ways due to Covid, shipping delays, and the constant screw ups of a well known American lifelong DC politician. Good luck!

The XLT Lux package is why I didn't opt for the Lariat, plus the added cost and (personally) not fond of the leather bronze interior.

The heated seats and the steering wheel is huge for me, I'm always up when it's early or later in the evening driving and my hands get cold and never seem to warm up during the drive so that was big. Heated seats are more for soothing my back pain than comfort and I have longer commutes usually.

I can't get the spray-in liner due to constraints, but they discounted my build so I was okay with going aftermarket on that. I did opt for the all-weather liners but may reconsider down the line with something that has better coverage, although I like the Maverick text on the Ford ones.

It varies of course- me, xlt lux, no cover. Here in CA I don’t reckon I will need it, and the racks I want for my kayaks don’t work with one anyway. If they make a Mav softopper I will go that route for winter.
