HELP ! How to keep cargo lights OFF by default when opening doors? (24 Lariat)

Can't figure this out. Everytime I open driver's door the cargo and bed lights come on. How do I disable this so they don't come on with door open? Just wearing the light out by constantly going on and off. Looked in both dash and infotainment screen settings and can't find it!

Police dark mode in forscan will achieve this but it will also keep other lights off until the vehicle is on.

in forscan you can also make the headlight switch default to "last known" instead of defaulting to "auto"

Im going to try to figure out if you could disable bed lamp and cargo light only and just have them come on when you use the button. Police dark mode will do it but affects other lights as well

My 2001 Ranger's cargo light came on every time I opened the door, though I wouldn't call that constantly. I drove that truck for 22 years and over 200,000 miles. Never had to replace the cargo light.
Just a data point.

I will try that coding out and see if It works too. There's definitely a way to do it but the wording is very vague and we still want the cargo lights to work just not automatically come on. I think the service manual and spreadsheet refers to the cargo lights as puddle lamps and they are also wired with the OEM bed light it if you have it installed. Its just kind of confusing with the wording and finding the codings

I'm in the opposite camp. How do I keep the bed/cargo light on longer ? I open the tailgate and only get like ten seconds of light then boom - Darkness -
