I have to ask the question. I took my first 'long' trip in the mini truck yesterday and am baffled by the heater. I have an XLT AWD Lux package.
Here is what is going on. On short trips I have to have the temp set at 62 to be comfortable because it is so hot. The passenger side blows at what I would expect, but the drivers side blows straight up hot air.
I have an instant read thermometer and the drivers side is 10 to 15 degrees hotter than the passenger side, even reaching as much as 115 degrees while the temp was set at 65. I know they have a different tool to measure air temp, but the instant read is all I had.
I have an appointment with the dealer this afternoon but aren't really too excited about the possibility of them ripping the dash out to fix a blend door.
Has any one run into a similar issue. I was thinking maybe the cabin air filter was still in the wrapping or something.
