Location of USB ports on XLT to charge iphone?

I have the usb a and c in the front under the stereo and the same at the rear of the console for people in the back to use. The ones in the from will work with the head unit but the ones in the rear are for charging only

There are two ports under the radio in the front. The top one is a USB Type-C and the lower one is USB Type-A. Both of these ports can transfer DATA and also charge devices. The USB Type-C can Fast Charge.

There will be two additional USB Type-A ports on the rear of the console in the back if you get the optional 110V/400W outlet (inverter) option. These ports are only charging ports with no DATA transfer.

If there is a port on the rear of the console IIRC it's just a 12v outlet. Stick a usb charger in there and go to town. I have a 4 port speed charger - ports for everyone!!!

You are correct the Maverick in base trim comes with two USB ports not one. One is a USB A port and the other is a USB C port both are located under the climate controls.

If you wanted more than the two offered you should have read the package and options list better and ordered the appropriate package or option as there are two to choose from. Either the XLT Luxury package or the 110V/400W Outlet option would have gotten you more than the standard two USB ports.

being 71 years old all i needed was a towing hitch and that was for resale more than anything luxury package was way more money than i needed to spend for usb ports.shoot,i only bought the xlt for the cruise control.

Apparently not because you started a thread about the lack of USB ports.

If the Luxury package was not in the budget then you should have chosen the 110V/400W Outlet option. It is a $150 option that would have increased your USB ports by 50%.

Like I mentioned in post #5 you had two packages/options to choose from to add more USB ports to the Maverick.

That would be the USB port for the back seat

Stick a cigarette lighter USB charger into the 12V cigarette port in front to pick up 2 more charging ports.

Cheaper to put a USB charger with multiple ports into the front and rear 12 volt plugs. And I did read the package options, went XLT.

You can go to eBay and pick up a four USB hub to add additional charging stations. The one I purchase cost $5-6 and fits in the right forward compartment of the center console as though it was intentionally made to fit.
