Looks like Ford changed the 2022 Lariat grille to the less expensive XL/XLT grill component. I found the Lariat 2022 grille to be made of more solid plastic. It's solid enough to support my recently added fog/driving lights.

No. I didn't want to deal with bumper removal unless absolutely necessary. I figured out a way to mount them directly to the grille. It's important to mention that the Lariat's grille up until 2025 is much stronger than the XL/XLT grille and I wouldn't recommend attaching much of anything to those grilles. Here's a thread on my install.

Who else hates the black trim plastic grill. I even took the entire front out to paint the grill (that is how the grill comes out) still does not look awesome. And the recess collects dirt and dust which looks grayish white in color. The plastic is v cheap quality. Does anybody know of a decent aftermarket grill?
The lobo's grill is also plastic, right?
The 2024 grill is nicer. The new painted area around the 2025-2026 headlamps on the front are road chip collectors.

Let us know how your insurance rate increases!
Was $908
I increased rental from $30 a day to $75 a day. That went from $39 annually to $69.
So $30 more.
The ‘Gap’ new replacement coverage that just netted me $8,000 when I totaled out. My 2024 booked at $32,000
When totaled.

Gap Was $60 a year based on a sub $40,000 replacement, I got a check for
$39,500.00 after my $250 deductible.
My 2024 was $36,000 plus the triple T
(Tax Tag Title)

It’s now $90 for the Tremor because it costs $43,000. Odd right !
After my discounts, employee pricing and third time buyer loyalty discount of $750 more I paid $40,300 triple T included.
The insurance looked at MSRP on the 2026 Lariat only, Not the Tremor.
Great ! Makes sense.

It went up $120.00 a year also because I’m insuring a new 2026 not a 2024.

It was $908, now $1,028.
no big deal.

Deer strike, tree falling on it, Rock slide.
All ‘Acts of God’ no rate increase in this state.

I'm ambivalent about the grille but my eyes are drawn to that flapper piece under the headlights.

Did you get a portion of the Extended Warranty refunded, and did you go for another one?

LOL

Like Mrs. Lincoln after the play complaining about giant ears and ignoring the bullet hole to the head.

THAT is a sexy front end !
Not the look at me bullshit, just a clean smooth well put together front end.
To be fair, the canvas was pretty great to start with.

Art over function. Looks like designers were more focused on making the lighted headlight assembly resemble cattle horns.
