I don’t use a CAI for added performance - I realize performance takes a slight hit.

I’ve installed CAI’s in the past for the sound enhancement.

Some folks upgrade their speakers, but I don’t listen to radio etc. I listen to the sounds of the ICE. A CAI for me is like adding premium speakers

That said, it is a crap shoot because many CAI’s sound like crap.

Made a New Car’s resolution to avoid a CAI on my already “sound enhanced” Lobo. So far - so good

Has anyone been using Green Filters replacing the stock engine air filter. I have a 2025 Maverick XLT AWD 2.0 Ecoboost. I'm having a hard time finding the correct part number online because of the engine being updated. But I have come across these filters which people have said are better then K&N.

I had a different brand pickup a few years back and the dealer showed me a dirty ice air filter that had an avocado green tint it. It was really dirty and did NOT HAVE MY SHARPIE PERMANENT INK INITIALS ON IT!!! I said NO. Verified the filter in my truck had my initials before I left. I have never been back there!

Wow - There are bad actors out there.
I've had that attempt pulled on me as well, one of the reasons I went to DIY maintenance.
