I'm about to schedule mobile service to do 3 software update recalls. I'll have them come to my work. Saves time.

10,000 Miles? Yes, the manual says 10k, but when talking to the service advisors here, they recommended 3-5000 for oil services.
Of course they do as it generates more revenue for them.

These small engines need love.
Uh what !!!

The Maverick is not your grandpa's car.

The Maverick Hybrid ICE engine hardly gets used over those 3-5k miles you state.

Blackstone Labs Oil Report for 2022 HYBRID Maverick 7/24/2024

This person did a 10k oil change and the Blackstone report states that he could wait until 13,500 miles to do the next one.

Maybe it's ok for the hybrids. But the 2.0ltr in the AWD versions do a lot more work than the 2.3ltr in the hybrid. Small engines, egrs, turbos, high temps, even with great modern oils, it's great practice to keep clean oil in your motor. The manager of my dealership quicklane (I have known him gor years) recommended 3-5k mile oil changes. Fluids are cheap compared with replacing an engine after warranty expires. Love your Maverick? Take care of it.

5k with high quality oil is the most I've heard experienced mechanics recommend on the ecoboost.

The 2.5l is a pretty low strung engine and following the oil monitor is fine. If the engine starts failing prior to 200k, or burning substantial amounts of oil, it was a design issue from the factory and had nothing to do with the oil quality or change interval. IMO!
