New member, just purchased a 2026 Maverick AWD, Hybrid xlt. Needed something economical to give me a little reprieve from my Silverado 3500 with a truck camper. I really like the handling, steering, brakes and of course the mileage. Glad to be aboard.

Here are a few pics of my Maverick. In the background of one pic is a reason for getting the Maverick Hybrid. I love tge 3500 for longer trips where I take camper but you just can't miss having a vehicle like the Maverick Hybrid for a daily truck. I am very impressed with mileage, ease of driving, handling, great brakes, and surprising what you can haul. This has more payload than a Ram Ecodiesel I once had. So far I just added Husky Floor Mats, and some mud flaps that I don't have installed yet. When I purchased it I had the special interior and exterior paint treatment done. Today I was on a back road and when I got home I just used a garden hose to wash all the dust off. The Maverick is actually replacing a 2010 Colorado which was a great truck until it wasn't . So far I really like this little truck. I'm not one to make a lot of changes, but come winter in Northern Michigan I'm sure I'll be asking about best tires to use. I believe one change we will see down the road is a electric vehicle that uses just a small fuel engine that runs at just one rpm and it's only job is to charge the batteries. They already use this in some industrial and ship

applications.
