I’ve been on MTC for about a year now. At the time I became aware of MTC there were members on for 6+ months. Most hadn’t gotten a truck yet, a few lucky ones had. I’m sure that I asked some naive questions as I see the 23 crowd doing now. There were a few “have you searched MTC?” and “Read the Manual” responses, but also a wealth of good info. Now that I’m an “experienced user” I’d like to offer a few of my thoughts and observations.
I have a A51 Lariat EB with a lot of add-ons. Cost? Yes! But I wasn’t shopping for a “cheap” vehicle, but a one vehicle replacement for my 2012 Escape Hybrid and my 99 Ranger. I had the Ranger for 20+ years and the Escape for 10+ years. So I’ll have the Maverick for at least 10 most likely.
So another way to look at the math, if you keep a vehicle for 10 years, the cost per week:
FX off road = $1.53
Power Moon Roof = 1.91
4K Tow = $1.43
Lariat Lux = $7.21
Co-Pilot 360 = $1.25
Total of package add-ons for 22 Lariat = $13.33 per week approx. or two drinks at Starbucks.

So what’s the point? If you are waiting or considering an order, I recommend getting the lux, towing, or whatever. It’s worth it in the long run. I’m really glad I waited it out, didn’t drop anything from my original order, and got the ruck I wanted.
But even with getting a loaded Lariat from Ford, there were still plenty of “mods” that I got.
Still working on "mods", but to date I have:
Ford Hard Roll-up tonneau
CPLAY2air bluetooth adapter - works great with iPhone
Tailgate lettering
Tuxmats - best IMHO
Rexing dash cam
Ceramic coating lite - (from dealer)
Lund Aeroskin Smoke Hood Protector - used FORD Points
Lund Smoke Low Profile Side Window Deflectors - used FORD Points
Bumper Cap (small piece to fill in around hitch)
Seahawk license plate to balance rear end (I'm doing a hinge on plate so it lifts when trailer plug in is needed.)
FITS Kit
Fits dog water dish
Thisworx 12v car vacuum
Ommo cooler/refrigerator, holds a 6-pack and fits under back seat
Haley Craft leather key fob cover - very nice, good quality
Bottom line, have patience, consider upgrading your order if possible and you can afford it. You won’t be disappointed, its a great little truck!
