Hey guys so I have a 2022 ford Maverick XLT hybrid with 7000 km went into dealer for paint pen and seen a 2022 Mazda cx5 with 14,000km and they offered to do a swap this is it

Most the time is worth the coin. Some cars have issues and people dump them. I’ve had a few over the years

I hear you I'm just thinking long term I tend to keep cars for 10 plus years the Mazda made in japan also so lots of pros

I drove a rental CX5 a couple of months ago and I liked it a lot. Mazda has designed some beautiful vehicles these last few years. That said, don't trust the warranty is gonna save you from a lot of frustration if it is a problematic car. It does look nice.

i, too, rented a CX5 while on orders, hated it. Couldn’t wait to turn it back in.

Really I hear it's a driver's SUV what didn't u like about it I'm sure the build quality is better then the Maverick

That's what I'm trying to debate myself on its long-term reliability or functionality although we all still don't know but the mav will fair long term I have a bunch it will be ok just the brakes and a issue at this point

Both my kids have this SUV and they love them. Very solid well-built vehicle. I too looked at the newly designed Honda CRV Hybrid. Tired of waiting for my Hybrid that probably will be rolled over to a 24. For me it came down to do I want a pickup or a SUV... Guess I'm waiting for my damm truck!!!

You won’t be disappointed with the CX-5. Like all the car magazines say, Mazda makes vehicles that are sporty and more fun to drive than their competitors. They also have beautiful interiors and are as reliable as Honda and Toyota. I’ve had 4 Mazdas and none have been unreliable. I currently have a 2015 Mazda 3 hatchback with 98,000 miles and its never needed anything but routine maintenance.

Of course, if you need a truck, just keep your Maverick.

Had a loaded Tahoe brand new spent the six months I owned it in the shop. I knew the guys at enterprise on a 1st name basis. Transmission, complete front drive train went out and then… total intermittent brake failure that they could not reproduce. Almost ran over a pedestrian because zero brakes. Next time swerved into a ditch. Traded the next day and lost $$ but hey, I’m still alive.
Point? Sometimes a warranty is useless.
Also know dealers use air brushing to touch up used cars. All the time. Looks great till down the road.
like mentioned your cash, do what you like. Till covid I always got a new car or truck for cheaper than 1-2 year old ones were selling for
