Got my hybrid today

After 6 1/2 months, my Alto Blue hybrid XLT showed up today. They really screwed up the order, as I had ordered the lux pkg and Copilot 360. Didn't have either. Got them to throw in a few things to make up for it though - spray-in bed liner, front window tints, and trailer hitch, plus they are removing the tonneau cover and the dash cam from my 22 Eco XLT and putting them on the new truck. Overall, although disappointed (and somewhat miffed) that the order was screwed up, I'm pretty happy with it. Already liking the mileage.

Man, that sucks, but at least you have your truck. My Lariat hybrid got here and picked up yesterday. Been driving 22 XLT EB. Mine is Alto Blue like yours. Love the color. On pace for 600 first tank and that with 70% hwy. Drove 340 mi and 289 left. Doing about 43 mpg. Hope you enjoy

If you can buy "off white" paint, shouldn't this be "off black"?

Why are you just now finding out about the errors in your order? Did the dealership not give you a copy of the order that was placed, so you could see the options and features ordered? Ridiculously poor dealership or salesperson...

I learned early on that my salesman was just that....and nothing else.
Happily, I got through Ford's transition from my unbuilt 2022 Lariat Lux to Fords 2023 broken up Lariat Lux Package and ended up with what I wanted.

I had to put it all into writing for the salesman to see, and then check it. I still ended up with the wrong Bed rail cleats, but I'm now glad I did. I did get a copy of my original order and the new order to compare.

I have seen some here who let the dealership just "handle it all" and as a result, more than one person didn't get the 360 Assist features of Reverse Parking Sensors, Adaptive Cruise and Lane-keeping that they expected. "Trust but verify" comes to mind.

I love my truck.

I like it. But disappointed how black it is.

All depends on the light conditions. I have mine parked right beside my black Kia Rio and the contrast is very apparent. When the sun shines bright, I can see the silver flakes in the midnight blue paint. My only complaint is that it is a magnet for dust, but that is a dark color for you.

I immediately called the Internet Sales Manager who has been assisting me since the beginning, and they admitted that they dropped the ball. Now I'm contemplating on some of my options on what I should do.

Congrats! I also got a Mav Hybrid from the dealers lot. Lariat. Cactus, and a few add ons.
I paid dearly for it.

There have been many cases of dealers just removing things from folks orders hoping to get them scheduled faster without consulting with the customers.

It's been a problem for some folks.

I'm still trying to figure out the Assist stuff. It is kinda fun letting the car steer through moderate curves...but if I don't keep a loose grip on the wheel, it tells me to keep my hands on the wheel. Fun to play with, but I am sure I could live without the three Assist items. I'd still love the truck without it, though.

I screwed up and didn't get a copy of the order. Too bad I sometimes trust people and assume they are doing right. The likelihood of me buying another car isn't that great, but if I do, I know which dealer I'm not going back to.

I mainly wanted it for the rear back-up sensors. The adaptive cruise control was just icing on the cake.
