Got an update email from Dealer with screen shot

Hello all,

it was nice to receive an email from the dealer about an update about my Maverick order this week. They also provided a screen shot of the order(s) and I have a question about what I see.

They stated a Month ago that my order was locked and was showing scheduling for preview. What does that mean?

Today, in the email they said that internally, my order was being submitted to the plant. The screen shot doesn’t show much info, but does say “in order processing” and “unscheduled-clean”. I am wondering if someone can shed light into what this means. Im thinking it just means “keep waiting, no news”.

"previewing" to schedule just means that Ford is saying that it is likely to schedule that week (usually this happens on Thursdays)

By locked....that may mean that Ford changed priority to 02. When it is priority 02, dealers can't make changes.

In order processing and unscheduled-clean, just means that there are no problems and that the order may be considered for scheduling.

But if they tell you that an order is "previewing", that is a good sign. Not a guarantee that it will schedule this week, but a good sign that it may.

With that said, I learned yesterday that my dealer is the number one Maverick dealer in the US. Now I know how I got scheduled before everyone else. ALLOCATION MATTERS!

I am sorry to hear that you have had to wait so long for your Maverick. Hopefully, you will get the magic email soon.

I waited a year for a 2022 F150 Powerboost, so I understand the angst of a long wait. My Maverick only took a little over 4 months from order to delivery. ALLOCATIONS MATTER more than I would have ever thought.

I just got an email from Ford along with my VIN!

If that is the entire Visibility Report, then your truck is not scheduled yet.
Looking at mine, there is a row for each time it got a build week and build day; which happened 3 times each.
There is yet another row for when it gets “Sent to Plant”.

Getting a priority 2 did not show up as a row. Priority 2 just means it is now being looked at for possible scheduling. I believe mine was like that for two weeks before it got picked. The amount of time at priority 2 varies. I recall hearing they might have moved a bunch at once this time, because of the roll over stuff. If that is accurate, then a bunch of people could be priority 2 for a while, especially if a Hybrid.

Unfortunately, not close to you. Capital Ford in Raleigh, NC. Who knew? I definitely did not know when I ordered, although I have bought 40 or 50 vehicles from them over several years.

I picked up the new Maverick today. Capital Ford made everything easy about the purchase & charged me exactly what was originally agreed to, less $500.00 for the Farm Bureau rebate.

I think they are just largest MAVERICK dealer, not largest dealer overall.
