Got a pleasant surprise when I shut MAV off while in A DRIVE,it automatically shifted into PARK. Seems like a good safety feature

On rare occasion (a few times a year), I do this by accident. I often notice when I do this that the vehicle won't move until I twirl the gear knob each way. Seems to be some programming peccadillo. Like when getting in, I'll move it to D, but it won't go until I twirl it back to P, then to D.
