Got 2024 order email from Ford even though I didn't order one

Ok… so this afternoon I see that our ‘23 xlt just hit built! Exciting. So now I get an email from Ford, confirming my ‘24 xlt order, which I did not order. I opened the email expecting it to say that the vehicle was just built.
I don’t know, has anyone else experienced this? Guess the dealer didn’t think the ‘23 was getting built, so did me a favor to order the ‘24?

I got the same email from Ford so I figured my 23 Lariat was not going to be built! I went into my dealership early on the 17th to order a 24 as suggested in Fords earlier email. To my surprise they had submitted my order already. The sales manager had taken care of all their customers who hadn’t gotten a build date. As I’ve still not received a build date I’m assuming I’m going to get a 24 year model. If I should live that long.

Thank you for the post! It looks like my/your dealer has our back! But the thing is, I did have a build date, and as I posted, just got built yesterday! Maybe the dealer hadn’t heard that. As they say, “Sometimes water doesn’t make it to the end of the row”…But I’m glad to get another!

GM told saleman/flunky, print out all unbuilt/undelivered orders and enter same order as closely as possible as a 2024. We'll sort it after the last 23's are scheduled.

Not a bad way to do business to get them all in on day 1.
