Found a built Maverick XLT with a VIN# and in transit to a local dealership from the FORD website. Reviewed the window sticker, made a phone call, it was unclaimed, and the deal was done at MSRP. Deal completed by email (agreement signed) and $500 refundable deposit was made by phone.

Delivery date is expected 11/1.

Thank you! The FORD website was REALLY helpful because it provided the VIN # and dealership. I just checked the build info and called the dealership.

I am about a month away from delivery so I can wait. The proverbial light at the end of the tunnel for me. Congrats for landing a nice one

Good move. As for myself, I really want the hybrid. The Maverick/EcoBoost seems like a good truck, but I'm not motivated to buy one. The hybrid has the combination of traits I'm looking for.

Fortunately, I don't really have to replace my current vehicle right now. I do believe the hybrids will appear fairly soon, but if they don't I can reassess and move on with no serious harm done.

I certainly respect your selection especially in AZ, but here in PA the Eco AWD is the way to go. Hopefully you are enjoying your Maverick before the New Year.

My thoughts exactly. For me it is the hybrid, or I'm going shopping again.

I live in snow country as well, and have never had AWD. The FWD hybrid still wins for me.

Everyone has their comfort level. For me, my facility opens if I make it there and it can be a challenge making it out of my neighborhood to get to plowed roads. You do what works for you and be satisfied, I will do the same and we’ll both enjoy our Mavericks 👍
