Glossy Black vs Matte Black Tailgate Lettering

Trying to buy tailgate lettering for my Area 51 color Maverick.

I’m leaning glossy since I keep my truck clean. What are benefits of Matte?

I had matte black vinyl on my white tailgate. I got the gloss metalic black from Ford. Both looked nice. The vinyl gave a nice contrast. The gloss black however popped and gave a much fancier look.

I like the matte finish on the vinyl letters for my Area 51. The other black and dark grays on the truck (on the bumper, mud flaps, and top of the tailgate) are all matte, so I felt it matched & blended well. All personal preference though!
