Real Truck has the Gator SFX on sales til Monday at $239 with free shipping
I saw that earlier today. I ordered 2 weeks ago and it's still not shipped so I contacted them and they are going to issue a credit to my card for the difference in price and said they will expedite my shipment. I will post back here if all that really happens. And I will post in big letters if it doesn't happen. LOL

Thinking about going ahead and pulling the trigger for it but feel like I shouldn't since I still have no build date. lol.

Wow! It went from being a really good deal to a great deal for anyone looking for a light weight bed cover. I recommend it.
I am going to call Gator and let them know about the gaps I am seeing. I’ll post their recommendations here

Went ahead and put in an order last night and already have a shipping confirmation this morning. If only Ford was that fast at scheduling builds. I've now relegated my free time to scouring car sites to track down a maverick before it gets on the lot to see if it's available. lol

I got mine yesterday from real truck and it was simple to install including the tailgate gasket. I am not seeing the gaps that others have reported so maybe I got a good one. I’ll take another look tomorrow and see but I’m extremely happy so far and the price was great.

one thing on mine was the gator logo wasn’t swen on mine in the back. The instructions were from gator and it all looks correct. But I actually prefer not to advertise for anyone so all the better.

I’ve got the gasket. I need to find out where it goes. Instructions don’t mention anything about it. Any tips you could give would be appreciated. TIA

I had to look it up too. Apparently it’s for the tailgate to keep dust out of the bed. I have attached a picture of how I installed mine based on a YouTube video.

Awww, you got lucky with the logo. It isn't too bad but I also like the clean look with out any advertisements. I got in the bed with the cover and tailgate closed to take pictures of the gaps,

The video on the webpage for the cover shows how to install the tailgate seal.

Can you guys tell me what all came in the box? And may be post a picture of the tailgate end of the cover showing the seal?

I didn’t get a gasket? Also can someone please explain to me how to do the final two twisting knobs that slide onto the rail system and then you tighten them. I just can’t figure it out for some reason.

considering this but couldn't figure out if it worked with the sliding bed tie downs. the other thing is i'd rather not have to trim any plastic.
so i'll probably get the EXTANG TRIFECTA SIGNATURE 2.0 (no trimming) but i have at least 6 wks to decide.
This is my issue. It have it install on all 4 corners, but I cannot figure out the last 2 that slide onto the bed rail somehow.

*Lengthy post with pictures

No need to speculate, you can't have a perfect seal with a folding cover. If it rains hard and if there's enough wind, water will find it's way into the bed. There will always be compromises made to balance the functionality of such cover, the look and sealing it off.

Gap where the edge seal meets (or in this case doesn't meet) the corner seal

Looking at the tailgate seal I thought it was pretty good but in reality it is not making much contact with the tailgate. If the cover was 1/4"-1/2" longer, it would seal the top end of the tailgate very well. I might stick some additional seal to the cover on this edge when I get it.

I want to know your ideas on how to get rid of those scratches. They are on the surface and not deep.

I mainly intend to use this tonneau cover to hide contents of the bed (mostly groceries :D) and luggage on road trips. I purchased a $30 cargo carrier bag from Harbor Freight, and it did a great job of keeping our bags dry through heavy rain and strong winds, I intend to use it and both together should make it pretty waterproof.
Sorry to keep spamming this topic. It looks like from your picture, we don’t install the final twist downs (the ones attached to the vinyl loop) to the bed rail, and just to the edge of the bed itself? Are these the ones that scratched up the plastic? This is the part that confused me as I started to take the rail end cap off (cracked it because it’s cheap plastic), and realized the cargo sliders can’t possibly come off easily. The instructions are vague so I got confused..

Also, all that came in my box was the cover itself. No other weather strip. Are we missing anything else?
