My tank has had 90% Costco gas over the past 90,000 miles. With an occasional Valero, Flying J, Loves, etc. when traveling.
I take my nieces advice because she's much more educated then me (chemical engineer for Chevron) and just stick with gas.

Yep, she's right. Top tier is all that's needed.

If you do the math, top tier gas is less expensive than adding Techron twice a year. Just use top tier gas.

I added Lucas fuel treatment ECL went off until filled up again.

It also keeps the top of my pistons cleaner on my rich running 900hp Willys hot rod.

Old school trick to clean the combustion chamber was to get the engine hot, then run water through a small vacuum line while holding about 2k rpm. About a pint of water sucked in without letting it bog down. Cleans plugs & cylinders, so you couldn't read the plugs after doing this. Did it as a mechanic before tearing down an engine for rebuild making cleaning process a little easier. Did it on my own cars when I bought them used. Have never done that to anything with a turbo as I wouldn't want to send anything through the blades.

She knows ! Many end-users would not believe (or listen) back in my day (my ID is a clue LOL). And I spoker to a lot of 'em... There's a lot of snake oil and a lot of voodoo around additives (& oil changes FWIW) that is unnecessary.

Charitably speaking: people want to do more for something that is a big investment. And sometimes "people don't know what they don't know". It's even weirder with oil DIY etc in some other countries especially Latin America.
