My Maverick has the SIBL, yet there is still the gap between the side of the bed and the floor. Is this for drainage? I am already getting leaves and other debris stuck in that crack.

You would not want them to try to bridge that gap with the liner. Let it drain.

You would not want them to try to bridge that gap with the liner. Let it drain.
Yeah I am not going to try and fill in the gap, but I do have a concern about debris getting caught in there and clogging it up, possibly causing rust in the future
