I've been temporarily driving a 2023 Maverick XLT (company car) to perform various maintenance duties at their service locations and fell in love with it. It's the Hybrid and gets 40+ mpg easily without sacrificing performance. Seriously looking into getting my own sometime this year. So I joined this forum to get educated on what I'd be in for. Mostly positive from what I've read so far. as an older "seasoned" driver (50+years of driving) and now retired, I'll likely aim at the Lariat trim as I'm spoiled with some of the features it offers that the lower trims do not. Assuming I pull the trigger sometime this year, you'll hear a LOT from me as I tend to get involved in these automotive forums. Thanks ..................... Tim

Thanks for the intro guys. I'll be shedding two of my listed vehicles, to make room for the Maverick. The 2014 Silverado will go (won't need two full size trucks) and the 2004 Pontiac Vibe GT (my current daily driver). My 1992 F150, which I bought new 34 years ago, is undergoing a full restoration and should be done by late summer. That will be my "work truck" when I need to haul large things around. Then the future Maverick will be my daily driver. All of my vehicles since I was a kid, were manuals. A blast to drive them. The 2014 Silverado was my first automatic and the future Maverick will be my second ever. Looking forward to it.

See if you can find a 2025 Lariat Hybrid, the 2026 year has some tariff deletes to keep prices down.

I’m planning on buying a Maverick soon, and joining this forum has helped me understand all the features I’ll actually use. It’s nice to get honest advice from people who already own one. Meanwhile, I also had to switch phone plans and checked verizon wireless reviews to see how reliable the network was in rural areas. Reviews like that can save a lot of frustration, especially when you’re juggling new tech and a new vehicle. Being part of a community with shared interests makes learning easie

To all out there in the Maverick world. Thread title change from "future" to "new" as I officially got my maverick a couple weeks ago, and not just myself, but my son got one too! Both are Lariat trim, with 4K tow, moonroof, power rear slider. Mine is the Ruby Red, his is the Orange with BAP. Let the modding begin :)

Wow, looking good. Of course, the RR denotes good taste on the part of the buyer!;)😀
Wishing you and your son "Happy Mavericking"! Stay safe and enjoy!!!

I have to admit the orange with BAP looks sharp; much better than I would have expected.

Congratulations, they both look great!

The BAP grille looks soooo much better than the standard Lariat grille tho
