So here is the story. Ordered a 2023 Area 51 Lariat and everything pointed to mid 2023 or later delivery if at all. Then dealer called and said someone backed out of a 2022 XLT (Lux etc) in Gray and did we want it. Picked it up late October and all was well. Then got notice that the Lariat was scheduled LOL. So we traded in a 2 month old 22 XLT for the 23 Lariat. We kept the bed cover and full floor mats from the XLT. All in all we came out ahead by over $1500 plus those items since we got above list for trade in value. Now the dealer has it listed used for around $3K above what they gave us on trade LOL. Maybe we should have sold it on our own but we decided on the easy way out and we have a great relationship with our dealer so letting them make a little does not bother me.
