Hello DI engines should use 93 top tier fuel at least every 2nd or third tank full for the detergents to help keep the valves clean as possible.I appreciate everybody's responses. I saw multiple people talk about their experiences with the hybrid and ecoboost engine. I guess I didn't specify that I have the ecoboost with AWD. In the current season the wife and I are in, we probably won't be towing much. Would love to have a camper in the future. We wanted a truck that could do the things we needed like picking up things from Lowe's, Home Depot, etc. for home projects, but wasn't a big gas guzzler because I still need to drive about 60 mi each day for work. We chose the AWD because we've had a couple snow storms the past couple years here in Texas and didn't have a vehicle that could get us places. We also like to take some ski trips if we can manage it in a given year. It is about 60-62 cents more per gallon for 93 where I live, and I haven't even seen 91 as an option at any stations here. As long as it's not detrimental to the engine, I am okay with sacrificing a little performance to save the money. But I have learned to use top tier only!
