Fuel door does not stay closed

I have a Lariat 2.0 ICB. My fuel door opens on its own from road vibrations. Stoped by the dealer to get an opinion and he opened the door and he looked at it and that was it. Keep driving as is. I guess I I will have to drive until complete failure of the latch. I find this annoying if nothing else.

It sounds like your dealer should have taken more of an interest.

Does the door open electronically or do you just push or pull on it?

Wondering if the catch needs to be adjusted so more of it engages the latch (if that is even possible). Maybe the catch is damaged and the latch can't grab properly. . .

When you look at it, is there any obvious alignment issues or damage?

I agree with your assessment of the dealer rep on the lock. Strictly a manual put to open. It appears to be the same mechanisms as the electric one. there is no adjustment apparent. Cheap mechanism. The one on my accord is 12 yeas old and my Chrysler is 5 yeas old and they work just fine.
