Front grill led lights

I’m trying to decide between the strip led light bar to make the truck look more lighteningesque or the ford f150leds company light pods to run across the top of the grill just under the hood. I would do the 5 light pods if that was the option I chose. Two questions
1. Did anyone do either?
2. If so how did you wire the light to get power. F150leds.com wires there light pods to the side marker light but I really want the lights to come on with the DRLs. I have the lariat trim (2023-hybrid) so the DRLs come on with the start up of the engine.

do you have a part number or name of where you got that light bar? I have one but it's like twice the length of the location to mount it and cutting it I think I would lose the scanning effect.

You probably got the 79 inch like I did my first time, returned it and bought the 59 inch and it's the perfect length for the Mav!

yup that's what I think happened, Ive had it for a while as I put one on my old car. just ordered the 59 inch one. did you wire direct to marker lights? I was hoping to wire to run it when the DRLs are on and not by turning on the headlights.

Yup wired it to #2 that way it would only turn on when I unlocked the car or the headlights were on

ok thanks I think I want to wire it so the bar is on when I'm driving win the daytime with the DRLs on.... I think I know which wire to tap into just trying to confirm.

crap I'm reading there may be an issue tapping into the drl wiring that can cause the bar to stop working after like 15 minutes or the headlights to stop. Ill just wire it into the side marker like you did....
