From Nothing to Shipped in 1 day (My23 rollover)

• Original order 8/29/21 for a lariat hybrid + lux in velocity blue
• I received the standard set of "Another update on your Ford order: No update" emails over the last year.
• I was never issued any vin or scheduling date
• I rolled over to my23 order
• Updated to lariat hybrid lux + hot pepper red + 360 assist + black appearance + remote start on 9/15
  • No idea how long it took for dealer to schedule due to issues with system but at least a couple day delay
• No confirmation email, dealer sent me a screen shot confirming my23 was set
• No updates since
• Received dealer email 12/8 congratulating me on my vehicle shipping
• Confirmed it was valid and got my vin.
• It was scheduled on 11/28
• built on 11/30
• Delivery ETA 12/29

TL;DR
Not a single update on the 2023 rollover but its built and in transit
WTF Ford?

Maybe you will. Its a friggen mystery. I havent been lurking as much lately but I thought it might be an interesting update for my23 rollover folks. You never know. Could be 2 weeks, maybe 20. Suprise motha trucka!

It happens. The online tracker is slow to provide updates that's all that is happening.

Here's another example on a completely different Ford vehicle. My 23MY Mustang Mach-E GT order went from In Production, Built, then Shipped all in the SAME day. A modern marvel. lol

I get what your saying about "In Production" and "built" dates but I didnt even have a vin to track anything. Just order confirmed via dealer week of 9/15 and then "Congratulations, you vehicle is arriving soon"

I'm betting your dealer didn't include your email address when they put in your rollover order, so Ford didn't have a way to notify you.

My truck has been in a rail yard in KC since 10-20-22 and I’m in STL. It keeps getting pushed out. The only thing Ford corporate can tell me is the transport company is behind in meeting deadlines.

You should Google "Ford Maverick XL interior" if you are curious about what the BAP appearance package looks like. That should cover about 90% of it for the XLT trim anyway.

Yeah nine times out of ten this is the issues with people not getting email updates. It really sucks that it's up to the dealer to do this because a lot of them don't.

I’d like to think that the Ford tracker page is just behind …

It shows our MY23 XLT EB was built 12/1/2022 … almost two weeks ago … but has yet to ship.

Alleged ETA to dealer is 1/7/2023 … but somehow I don’t think that’s going to happen.

It kills me to read some people reporting that their Mav was built one day and shipped the next.

But then … what’s a couple more weeks at this point.
