I didn't know the EcoBoost ever had the deep sleep issues?
Why wouldn't they? A low battery is a low battery. Could be a problem with the battery or the charging system. My stepson will put the right guy on it and supervise if/when I take it in.

I always thought the Deep Sleep was limited to the Hybrid's battery for propulsion (the ~ 220v system). That assumption caused me to ignore every thread on the topic becuase I was ordering an EB.. Oh well... :LOL: .

Does you the Tyger tonneau cover you installed make any flapping noises? or any extra noise for that matter?
Don't hear anything driving with the radio off. Watching in the mirror there is a lil flutter at speed but no ballooning or puffing up like some do.

nope just the reg AWD for our little bit of snow. 15min east there were dozens of schools closed but not really enough to play in here.

Deep sleep update. Got tired waiting for driving to resolve this item so over night trickle charged with my old lead acid Battery Tender on Xmas eve. Charger shut off at 12.6V which wasn't 100% according to the AGM charts.
Reset the MPG for the first time and drove around Xmas night viewing the neighborhood decorations for about a hour. Charging voltage stayed at just over 15v. 20-40MPH for a little less than 30 miles and the snapshot mileage was 33MPG when back home. Stop start worked the entire time but it was noticeably smoother than the 2020 Escape.
Haven't had a deep sleep since then but see the need for an updated charger, open to suggestions. Thinking NOCO GENIUS2 with a separate AGM mode.

Update on the battery issue. While the Noco AGM charger topped off the battery better than my old Battery Tender a few days later it's back to recurring sleep mode. Never fails to start so it's not been a burning issue. I'll let Ford (stepson) deal with it when in for the any software recalls. He'll drop off his CG Mav Tremor when he takes it in.

Getting ready for the annual family cabin spring opening. Don't know what havoc the winter has caused to the rather long up hill access drive way. Son was there in March and says it may need some tractor work. Luckily we have a good neighbor near there that likes BBQ and beer.

New Bunker traction boards, old recovery rope w/shackles, small folding shovel. Never felt the need with the Raptor, I just hooked'em and drug'em up the hill lol.

I'm afraid the single friction tie down won't get this done. Need to repurpose an old ratchet strap to secure the traction boards better. Pipe insulation on ends for anti rattle.

The piano black and chrome lower part of the steering wheel always looked dusty, same on the wife's 2020 Escape. Enter Aunginsy trim piece. Only interior mod considered, fits good.
